The weather reports call for temps in the 40s to 50s, with 30 - 40% chance of rain both Friday and Saturday.
[For the record, the forecast for Minneapolis only about 20 degrees cooler. And, we could have gone sledding. Once again, we should have gone to Minnesota for the Winter Working Meeting! Oh well, there's always next year.]

Yep, there's always next year. And, if this were a democracy we could VOTE on where to hold the winter working meeting. But, I don't think that's gonna happen. /s/ VIP
I couldn't resist making the comment. Besides, now I know you've read the blog. :-)
Or we could have held it in NYC -- and since we have a foot of snow in Central Park, we could have gone sledding, cross-country skiing and ice skating. However, the temperature last week was a balmy 6.

Well, Minneapolis for the Winter Working Meeting in 06 would make a nice contrast to the Annual Meeting in Honolulu! How many palm trees does the Committee need in a year?
You can never have TOO many palm trees!
Yes, but how many fiberglass Snoopy statues can you find in Hawaii?
